EULiST NTUA Info Day – July 5th 2022

EULiST NTUA Info Day

Tuesday, July 5th, 2022

Webinar, 11:00-12:30 EEST

The National Technical University of Athens, within the framework of its policy for internalization and outreach, has become an active partner in the Alliance of nine Higher Education Institutions in the European Union, EULiST “European Universities Linking Society and Technology”.

The scope and strategy of this Alliance will be presented at the members of NTUA Community on Tuesday July 5th, at 11:00-12:30, focusing on the topics: Campus, Teaching and Learning, Research and Innovation, Outreach, Engagement and Transfer.

EULiST serves as an intermediary and generator of knowledge and innovation, empowering responsible change agents to solve the challenges humanity is facing, with a specific focus on climate change and disruption in social cohesion. To this end, EULiST strives to generate a unique and creative academic ecosystem inspired by the reciprocities between society and technology. Embedded in a single borderless campus, through transdisciplinary learning and teaching, cooperative research and innovation, and community outreach, EULiST seeks to make the Knowledge Square a reality and advance open science principles, using a new type of unified, integrated digital library as its knowledge and communications hub.

The nine Universities which have already joined forces towards the achievement of this vision are: National Technical University of Athens (Greece), Leibniz University Hannover (Germany), Technical University of Vienna (Austria), Jönköping University (Sweden), Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology LUT (Finland), University Rey Juan Carlos  (Spain), University L’Aquila (Italy), Slovak University of Technology Bratislava (Slovakia) and Brno University of Technology (Czech Republic).

EULiST NTUA Info Day will be held online and registration is needed.

The event will also be broadcasted on NTUA YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/NTUAofficial
