Preparing for Brno: NTUA Students Gear Up for the 3rd Student Conference
As part of the preparations for the upcoming EULiST Student Conference in Brno, NTUA brought together the student participants for a dedicated briefing session on 27 May 2026.
A total of 26 participants attended the session, including 22 students (20 conference participants and 2 student volunteers supporting the on-site preparation and organization*) and 4 members of the NTUA EULiST team: Prof. N. Mitrou, Assist. Prof. S. Stelios, A. Iliakis, and Y. Mitrou.
Students received detailed information about the conference agenda and activities, as well as guidance on how to make the most of the international and collaborative opportunities the event will provide. Participants were also provided with guidance on how to engage actively with peers from across the EULiST Alliance and benefit from a range of networking opportunities.
Special attention was given to the three workshops co-organised by NTUA, which were presented to the students:
- Launch of the EULiST Course Catalogue – Prof. N. Mitrou & Y. Mitrou
- Ethics in Technology: From Theory to Practice – Assist. Prof. S. Stelios
- Science Communication – Iliakis
The presentation of these workshops offered participants a preview of the topics and activities that NTUA will contribute to the conference, highlighting the university’s active role in shaping the EULiST student experience.
