NTUA Delegation Visits Leibniz University Hannover within the EULiST Alliance
On 18-19 June 2026, delegation from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) visited Leibniz University Hannover (LUH), together with representatives from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC), for a two-day collaboration visit within the EULiST European University Alliance.
The meeting brought together academics, researchers, and university leaders to strengthen cooperation and explore new opportunities in research, innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, education, and science communication.
Participants exchanged good practices and identified opportunities for joint research projects, researcher networking, doctoral mobility, entrepreneurship initiatives, and sustainability-oriented education. Particular attention was given to shared areas of expertise, including Human-Centred Artificial Intelligence, Green Energy, and Digital Societies, as well as to expanding science communication and public engagement activities across the Alliance.
The programme also included bilateral meetings on strategic topics related to the future development of EULiST and a visit to LUH’s Einstein Elevator research facility. The visit concluded with the identification of several follow-up actions aimed at further strengthening collaboration among the three institutions.

The visit reaffirmed NTUA’s strong commitment to the EULiST Alliance and its active role in fostering European cooperation in research, innovation, education, and societal engagement.
