EULiST’s First-ever Participation in the EAIE Annual International Education Conference and Exhibition
EULiST participated for the first time with its own booth in the EAIE Annual International Education Conference and Exhibition, which was held from Tuesday, September 17 to Friday, September 20, 2024, in Toulouse, France.
The European Association for International Education (EAIE) is the European centre for expertise, networking and resources in the internationalisation of higher education. As a non-profit, member-led organization, it serves individuals actively involved in the internationalisation of their institutions. This year more than 7.300 people attended the event, setting a new record over four incredible days of learning and networking.
EULiST reached a significant milestone, by taking part for the first time in such a prestigious international exhibition dedicated to education. Delegates from all over the world dropped by the EULiST booth, which was bustling with activity, to engage with representatives of the alliance and learn about its main objectives and innovative activities.
The EAIE Conference provided a unique platform for EULiST to showcase its vision of building a sustainable, inclusive, and technologically advanced future for higher education. It allowed EULiST to actively engage in dialogues about educational trends within the European University Initiative, network with global institutions, and explore new partnerships that align with its mission to become a European University.
Professor Irene Koronaki from the School of Mechanical Engineering at National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) represented EULiST and engaged in discussions with like-minded professionals on strategies for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and sustainability objectives within communities.
EULiST also participated in the FOR-EU side event on September 17, 2024, titled “Internationalisation of European Universities Alliances: The New Frontiers.” This event served as a vital platform to discuss the future of European University alliances and explore ways to strengthen international collaboration.
Moreover, IMT organized the IMT Global Partners Forum on September 16-17, 2024 at IMT Mines Albi, near Toulouse. The forum offered a great opportunity for partners to connect with IMT’s network, exchange ideas, and gain insights into the European Alliance, EULiST.
