ΝTUA Participation in VivaTech Exhibition 2025 in Paris

In June 2025, the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), within the framework of the EULiST European University Alliance, actively participated in the prestigious VivaTech exhibition in Paris, one of Europe’s leading events for innovation and technology. The NTUA delegation included:

  • The Vice Rector for Research, Innovation and Outreach, Professor Emmanouil Varvarigos, and
  • The spin-off company, PRINSUS.

Professor Varvarigos held important meetings with the leadership of IMT as well as potential industry partners interested in funding research activities.

As for the spin-off PRINSUS, the exhibition provided an exceptional platform to connect with a wide range of start-ups and innovative organizations, significantly broadening its network and opening new avenues for collaboration. Among the highlights of its participation was the establishment of a strong partnership with the INRAE Research Unit of Excellence in Microbiome Analysis. Building on this new relationship, PRINSUS and INRAE have already agreed to join forces in preparing a proposal for the upcoming Marie Skłodowska-Curie Staff Exchange 2025 call. Furthermore, discussions are underway to identify and pursue additional joint opportunities within forthcoming Horizon Europe calls, reinforcing PRINSUS’s commitment to advancing research and innovation through strategic alliances.
