Αναλύσουν και να κατανοήσουν τις παραμέτρους που διαμορφώνουν τον χαρακτήρα της γειτονιάς: Αστική μορφολογία και τοπόσημα, κτιριακός ιστός και αστικός μανδύας, ιστορικοί και κοινωνικοοικονομικοί περιορισμοί.
Προσδιορίσουν την πολυπλοκότητα και τις προκλήσεις που αντιμετωπίζουν οι αστικές γειτονιές.
Αναπτύξουν μεθοδολογία αξιολόγησης της προσαρμοστικότητας και ανθεκτικότητας ενός τόπου σε κοινωνικές, οικονομικές, πολιτικές και κλιματικές αλλαγές/απειλές.
Διατυπώσουν προτάσεις για την αντιμετώπιση των αναγνωρισμένων ζητημάτων.

NTUA Delegation at EULiST Student Conference 2025 in Douai, France: A Week of Collaboration, Innovation and Cultural Connections

From June 30th to July 4th, 2025, the IMT Nord Europe in Douai, France, hosted the second edition of the EULiST Student Conference. Bringing together 200 students of all levels (undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD), with diverse fields of study, from across the 10 EULiST partner universities and countries, this marks the alliance’s largest student event.

The National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) delegation consisted of 26 members:

23 students, led by Georgia Tritsini, an undergraduate student from the School of Architecture and NTUA’s representative on the EULiST Student Board. The student group included:
- 14 undergraduate students
- 2 postgraduate students
- 6 PhD students – three of whom were workshop speakers: Nikolaos Antoniadis and Doris Skenderas, from the school of Mining and Metallurgical Engineering and the student volunteer organization MiMEC, and Christos Kalantzis, from the school of Mechanical Engineering and the student volunteer organization Envinow. Together, these three students organised the joint workshop “Identifying the Gaps and Connecting Academia and Industry,” held on July 3rd. The thematic interactive workshops, a central part of the conference, encouraged students to explore key topics shaping the future of academia and society, aiming to develop solutions with real impact beyond the conference, and fostered group work, critical thinking, and creativity.

- Andreas Boudouvis, former Rector of NTUA and Professor at the School of Chemical Engineering, who was a keynote speaker and participated in an engaging panel discussion on July 1^st on the “Future of Higher Education in Europe through University Alliances”.
- Nikolaos Mitrou, Professor at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and active member of the EULiST Task Group 2.1, who, together with Gergely Rakoczi from TU Wien, led the 1 Digital Campus workshop on July 1^st, where students had the privilege to be the first testing the pilot version of the Digital Campus platform and share their feedback.
- Konstantinos Braimakis, Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, who presented the EULiST Research and Innovation Academy (ERIA) – the flagship initiative of the WP4 “Research & Innovation” – during the EULiST Poster Session/Fair on July 3^rd.

The EULiST Pitch Sessions gave students the opportunity to present their academic projects and innovative solutions to some of tomorrow’s most pressing challenges. Organised into three 45-minute rounds, the sessions encouraged lively exchanges and inspired new ways of thinking. Four NTUA students presented their work:

Ioannis Panagiotopoulos (Postgraduate student, School of Rural, Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering) – Deep Learning for Breast Tumor Segmentation: How Data Augmentation Boosts Accuracy

The EULiST Fair/Poster Session also enabled participants to dive into exciting research, meet inspiring people, and spark new collaborations. Five NTUA students presented their research:

Ersi – Natalia Papadaki (Postgraduate student, School of Rural, Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering) – Creation of a Geometric Repository for special Monuments. Case Study: The 3D Model of the Sculpture “Runner” in Athens, Greece
Georgia – Aliki Trampa – Vortex Induced Vibrations (VIV)

Participants also had the chance to build cultural connections by tasting traditional snacks and drinks from each EULiST member country and exploring Douai’s historic landmarks and vibrant cultural heritage.

Overall, the 2nd EULiST Student Conference in Douai was an enriching experience for everyone involved, providing countless opportunities for personal growth, academic development, and intercultural exchange. It was a week that embodied the shared vision of all partner institutions — fostering collaboration, innovation, and meaningful connections while shaping the future of higher education and society in Europe together.

Call for applications – EULiST BIP for Staff, Researchers and Students: Challenge-Based and Project-Based Learning at BUT, Autumn 2025

This Blended Intensive Programme aims to develop the challenge-based learning methodology in conjunction with project-based learning, which is often used in arts-oriented education. This approach encourages creativity, independent thinking, and the ability to go beyond traditional academic boundaries. Within the EULiST alliance of European universities, comprising ten institutions with diverse cultural and academic approaches, the programme will emphasise international collaboration and innovative pedagogical methods.

The programme will reflect key aspects of sustainability, inclusion, and digital transformation, with solutions designed to fit the priorities of Erasmus+ and the long-term goals of the EULiST Alliance.

Principles of Challenge-based and Design-based Learning
Reflections from student representatives on educational methodologies

Το συγκεκριμένο Μικτό Εντατικό Πρόγραμμα Κινητικότητας (Blended Intensive Program – BIP) αποσκοπεί στην ανάπτυξη της μεθοδολογίας μάθησης με βάση τις προκλήσεις (challenge–based learning) σε συνδυασμό με τη μάθηση με βάση τα έργα (project–based learning), η οποία χρησιμοποιείται συχνά στην καλλιτεχνικά προσανατολισμένη εκπαίδευση. Αυτή η προσέγγιση ενθαρρύνει τη δημιουργικότητα, την ανεξάρτητη σκέψη και την ικανότητα υπέρβασης των παραδοσιακών ακαδημαϊκών ορίων. Στο πλαίσιο της συμμαχίας EULiST των ευρωπαϊκών πανεπιστημίων, που αποτελείται από δέκα ιδρύματα με διαφορετικές πολιτισμικές και ακαδημαϊκές προσεγγίσεις, το πρόγραμμα θα δώσει έμφαση στη διεθνή συνεργασία και σε καινοτόμες παιδαγωγικές μεθόδους.

Το πρόγραμμα θα αντικατοπτρίζει βασικές πτυχές της βιωσιμότητας, της συμπερίληψης και του ψηφιακού μετασχηματισμού, με λύσεις που θα ανταποκρίνονται στις προτεραιότητες του Erasmus+ και στους μακροπρόθεσμους στόχους της Συμμαχίας EULiST.

Second Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program by NTUA within EULiST: “Carbon Footprint Reduction Initiatives in EULiST Universities”

In June 2025, the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) organized its second Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) within the framework of the European University Alliance EULiST “European Universities Linking Society and Technology”. The program, titled “Carbon Footprint Reduction Initiatives in EULiST Universities”, was organized in cooperation with LUT University (LUT), TU Wien (TUW), Brno University of Technology (BUT), Jönköping University (JU), Leibniz University Hannover (LUH), Institut Mines-Télécom (IMT), the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STU), and the University of L’Aquila (UnivAQ).

The program took place from 4 to 30 June 2025, combining online sessions on 4, 11, and 18 June with a 10-day on-site session in Athens from 21 to 30 June.

The 22 selected Bachelor (3rd year and above) and Master’s students from EULiST partner universities worked with experts in the field of carbon emissions, smart and sustainable energy design, using challenge-based learning, hands-on approach and design thinking, earning 4 ECTS. Participants acquired new skills in carbon emissions management, learned to use new methodologies and tools for monitoring and estimating emissions from a life cycle perspective, and developed a new mindset that will contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The program proved to be a highly valuable experience, offering students practical learning opportunities and fostering knowledge and collaboration, fully aligned with the shared vision of all EULiST partner institutions for sustainability, innovation, and linking society with technology.

Second Language Services Working Group (LSWG) Meeting in Athens

Hot temperatures and cool ideas: Report from the 2^nd meeting of the Language Services Working Group (LSWG), 12-13 June 2025, Athens

The Language Services Working Group (LSWG) has just had its second meeting – this time at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Despite the unusually hot weather for June, we set about discussing and clarifying the scope and goals of the five subprojects defined at the first meeting at the Leibniz University Hannover (LUH) in October 2024. These five subprojects were given the green light by their respective WPs and include both tandem- and project learning, creating a glossary and offering a blended intensive programme. We also began a sixth subproject: the creation of a EULiST language centre with 20 language courses, which has been defined as one of the key performance indicators (KPI) within EULiST.

It was great to see that eight of the ten EULiST universities were able to participate, either in person in Athens or online. The meeting, meticulously organised by our colleague Goni Togia (NTUA), began with a warm welcome by Professor Athanasios Zisis, Management Board Co-Chair and Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Life-Long Learning, Professor A. Zisis. He was followed by the NTUA Executive Director, Dr. M. Vardaki and the EULIST Scientific Coordinator, Professor Emeritus K. Adam. The presence of local members of various EULiST WPs helped in connecting our discussions to ideas in the wider project.

We then continued with progress reports from the five subgroups, starting with subgroup 2 on the EULiST tandem platform, led by Klaus Schwienhorst (LUH). We plan to open the tandem platform to all EULiST students in October 2025 and hope to solve any challenges we face until then. This involves creating a short tandem video, organising webinars for teachers and workshops for tandem counsellors, editing texts in the interface and adding new functionality.

After an excellent lunch, we continued with subgroup 3 on project-based learning and language courses, led by Ben Hill (IMT). This group aims to compile a good-practice guidebook and conduct a survey on project-based learning, followed by a pilot programme in 2025-2026. We also discussed how we could contribute to the EULiST student conference in Douai, which had been requested at very short notice. We welcomed the request, and agreed that Ben would discuss our ideas with the organising committee. Valuable contributions to the discussions were made by NTUA members: A. Lampropoulou (Local Coordinator / CO, Joint PR Unit, Task 5.3 lead, Task 1.2, 5.1 and 5.5), Prof. E. Pavlatou (School of Chemical Engineering), E. Skordalaki (Task 2.5), Prof. K. Spyrou (School of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering) and Assoc. Prof. S. Vouyiouka (School of Chemical Engineering). In the evening, NTUA invited us to a fabulous outdoor dinner at a tavern not far from the Acropolis.

The second day started with a presentation by Professor Mitrou from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, NTUA, on controlled vocabularies and subject classification. This provided an excellent introduction to subgroup 4, whose goal is to create a EULiST glossary and select a standard variety of English to be used in EULiST. The subgroup is led by Joy Reid (LUH), assisted by Chris Schubert (TUW). Jolana Tlukova (BUT) will coordinate a more short-term project on the compilation of a glossary for Erasmus student journeys to facilitate student exchanges. The whole LSWG agreed that British English should be used consistently throughout all EULiST documentation (e.g. the website, brochures, announcements, protocols). This involves mostly spelling, but also choice of vocabulary. We will inform the relevant WPs shortly.

After lunch, we moved on to subproject 5 which plans to set up a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) on global citizenship education and languages in intercultural communication. This BIP is organised by Pasi Puranen (LUT) together with Dagmar Schimmel (LUH) and Natalja Zabeida (LUH). The group plans to have all promotional materials ready by October 2025, so that the BIP can take place as planned in early 2026.

We then also discussed subproject 1, which would compile all language services by EULiST partners on a web site by October 2025. WP 3 will define how the language services can be linked to the EULiST course catalogue. Klaus Schwienhorst leads this subgroup together with Goni Togia .

We also turned our attention to a new subproject (no. 6) which deals with the creation of 20 language courses, one of the key performance indicators (KPI) within EULiST. Magda Sučková (BUT) leads this subgroup and will arrange a first online meeting to discuss the framework for these language courses. The goal is to enable students from all EULiST universities to achieve rudimentary language skills in all EULiST languages to facilitate exchanges and other study visits. It was encouraging that several LSWG could start as early as winter semester 2025. Finally, the group nominated Klaus Schwienhorst as LSWG coordinator, and Ben Hill as assistant coordinator. Additional NTUA participants in the second day’s discussions included: Prof. E. Dimopoulou (Task 2.1 lead), E. Skordalaki (Task 2.5) and A. Iliakis (Task 5.4).

The second LSGW meeting ended with a delicious meal in Athens’ old town. Many thanks to Goni Togia for the great preparation, fabulous hospitality and excellent organisation of the meeting. The next LSWG meeting is planned for early December 2025 in Madrid where will hopefully be able to review how our first projects have been implemented.

Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC) Visits National Technical University of Athens (NTUA)

On May 19^th and 20^th, 2025, a 12-member delegation from Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC) visited the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) to reinforce the strategic partnership within the EULiST European University Alliance and explore opportunities for future academic and research collaboration across a broad range of engineering fields.

The delegation, led by URJC Vice-Rector for International Relations Prof. María Luisa Humanes Humanes and the Chair of EULiST Management Board, Pablo Tomas Salvadores Alonso, Head of URJC International Office, consisted of representatives from various faculties.

The event was inaugurated with welcome speeches by academic leaders, including the NTUA Rector, Prof. Ioannis K. Chatjigeorgiou, the NTUA Vice Rector, Prof. Athanasios Zisis, and Emer. Prof. Katerina Adam, EULiST NTUA Scientific Responsible.

The meeting proceeded with a session of presentations highlighting key research activities at NTUA. Prof. Sotirios Karellas, EULiST NTUA Scientific Responsible, and WP4 Leader, gave an institutional overview on behalf of Vice Rector for Research, Innovation, and Outreach, Prof. Manos Varvarigos. He also presented the EULiST Research activities, with a particular focus on ERIA (EULiST Research and Innovation Academy), the flagship of Work Package 4: “Research & Innovation”. Ongoing activities within WP4, such as “Fridays for Research”, were also introduced. Subsequently, NTUA Professors with research activities relevant with these of the URJC delegation, i.e. Marinos Manolesos, Maria Taxiarhou, Georgios Stamou, Simos Papavasiliou, Nikos Mitrou, and Athanasios Rentizelas showcased their research areas and the projects conducted in their laboratories.

URJC’s research activities were then introduced by Pablo Tomás Salvadores Alonso, Director of Internationalization, Santiago Gómez Ruiz, Academic Director of International Research Promotion, and other representatives from various URJC schools and faculties including Luis Fernando Bautista from School of Experimental Sciences and Technology (ESCET), Cristina Soguero from School of Engineering of Fuenlabrada, Rafael Capilla from School of Computer Engineering and Ana Medina Lopez from Faculty of Economics and Business Science.

This session was also attended by a number of NTUA Academics, including Prof. Andreas Boudouvis, former NTUA Rector, and currently member of the EULiST Advisory Council, Prof. Spyros Voutsinas & Prof. George Hatzistelios, NTUA Center for LLL, Prof. Efi Dimopoulou, Leader of EULiST TG 2.1, Digital Campus, Prof. Angelos Markopoulos, member of WP4, Research, Prof. Maria Menegaki, member of WP3, Teaching and Learning, Prof. Anna Zervaki.

The afternoon session included bilateral meetings and guided visits to NTUA laboratories. Based on their research interests the URJC delegation was divided into two groups:

Group 1 visited the Schools of Mining & Metallurgical Engineering, (SMMM) and Chemical Engineering (SCE), led by Prof. Katerina Adam, Prof. Andreas Boudouvis, and Antonia Lampropoulou, EULiST NTUA local coordinator, Head of International Relations Department. The visit at the SMMM including the Georama Mineralogical Museum and TEM was guided by Prof. Stavros Tryantafyllidis, and Prof. Antonios Peppas whereas at the School of Chemical Engineering the visits to Labs and Pilot Plant facilities were guided by Professors Litsa Pavlatou, Kostas Charitidis, Magda Krokida, and Gerasimos Lyberatos.
Group 2 visited the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, (SECE) under the coordination of Prof. Ioanna Roussaki, where discussions were held on the school’s research focus areas but also on research topics from the School of Mechanical Engineering, (SME), coordinated by Prof. Konstantinos Kirytopoulos. Faculty members from the SECE who participated in these discussions included Professors Evangelos Hristoforou, Pavlos Sotiriadis, Nikolaos Mitrou, and Simos Papavassiliou. The SME was further represented by Prof. Vassilis Riziotis and Prof. Athanasios Rentizelas.

The visit concluded with a joint session where representatives from both institutions convened to discuss potential future synergies in research, education, and innovation, based on areas of mutual interest and a shared commitment to advancing sustainability and driving the green and digital transition.

Στις 19 και 20 Μαΐου 2025, 12μελής αντιπροσωπεία του Πανεπιστημίου Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) επισκέφθηκε το Εθνικό Μετσόβιο Πολυτεχνείο (ΕΜΠ) με στόχο την ενίσχυση της στρατηγικής εταιρικής σχέσης στο πλαίσιο της Συμμαχίας Ευρωπαϊκών Πανεπιστημίων EULiST και την περαιτέρω διερεύνηση ευκαιριών ερευνητικής και ακαδημαϊκής συνεργασίας σε ένα ευρύ φάσμα τομέων της μηχανικής.

Η αντιπροσωπεία, με επικεφαλής την Αντιπρύτανη διεθνών σχέσεων του URJC, Καθηγήτρια María Luisa Humanes Humanes και τον πρόεδρο του EULiST Management Board, Pablo Tomas Salvadores Alonso, Διευθυντή του Τομέα Διεθνοποίησης του URJC, αποτελούνταν από εκπροσώπους διαφόρων σχολών.

Την εκδήλωση χαιρέτισαν ο Πρύτανης του ΕΜΠ, Καθηγητής Ιωάννης Κ. Χατζηγεωργίου, ο Αντιπρύτανης Ακαδημαϊκών Υποθέσεων και Διά Βίου Εκπαίδευσης του ΕΜΠ, Καθηγητής Αθανάσιος Ζήσης, και η Ομοτ. Καθηγήτρια Κατερίνα Αδάμ, Επιστημονική Υπεύθυνη EULiST ΕΜΠ.

Ακολούθησε ενότητα παρουσιάσεων που ανέδειξε τις κύριες ερευνητικές δραστηριότητες του ΕΜΠ. Ο Καθηγητής Σωτήριος Καρέλλας, Επιστημονικός Υπεύθυνος EULiST ΕΜΠ και Επικεφαλής του Work Package 4 (WP 4) «Research and Innovation», παρουσίασε μια επισκόπηση του ερευνητικού έργου και της στρατηγικής του ιδρύματος εκ μέρους του Αντιπρύτανη Έρευνας, Καινοτομίας και Εξωστρέφειας, Καθηγητή Μάνου Βαρβαρίγου. Παρουσίασε επίσης τις ερευνητικές δραστηριότητες του EULiST, με ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στην ERIA (EULiST Research and Innovation Academy), τη ναυαρχίδα του WP4, καθώς και άλλες πρωτοβουλίες στο πλαίσιο του WP4, όπως οι «Fridays for Research». Στη συνέχεια, μέλη ΔΕΠ του ΕΜΠ, με ερευνητικά αντικείμενα συγγενή με αυτά της αποστολής του URJC, και συγκεκριμένα οι Καθηγητές Μαρίνος Μανωλέσος, Μαρία Ταξιάρχου, Γεώργιος Στάμου, Σίμος Παπαβασιλείου, Νικόλαος Μήτρου και Αθανάσιος Ρεντιζέλας, παρουσίασαν τα επιστημονικά τους πεδία και τα ερευνητικά έργα που υλοποιούνται στα εργαστήριά τους.

Αντίστοιχα, τις ερευνητικές δραστηριότητες του URJC παρουσίασαν ο Pablo Tomás Salvadores Alonso, Διευθυντής Διεθνοποίησης, ο Santiago Gómez Ruiz, Ακαδημαϊκός Διευθυντής Διεθνούς Προώθησης Έρευνας, και άλλοι εκπρόσωποι από διάφορες σχολές και τμήματα του URJC, όπως ο Luis Fernando Bautista από τη Σχολή Πειραματικών Επιστημών και Τεχνολογίας (ESCET), η Cristina Soguero από τη Σχολή Μηχανικών της Fuenlabrada, ο Rafael Capilla από τη Σχολή Μηχανικών Πληροφορικής και η Ana Medina Lopez από τη Σχολή Οικονομικών και Επιχειρηματικών Επιστημών.

Στη συνεδρία αυτή συμμετείχαν αρκετοί επιπλέον ακαδημαϊκοί του ΕΜΠ, όπως ο Καθηγητής Ανδρέας Μπουντούβης, πρώην πρύτανης του ΕΜΠ και νυν μέλος του EULiST Advisory Council, ο Καθηγητής Σπύρος Βουτσινάς και ο Καθηγητής Γεώργιος Χατζηστέλιος, Κέντρο Δια Βίου Μάθησης ΕΜΠ, η Καθηγήτρια Έφη Δημοπούλου, Επικεφαλής του EULiST TG 2.1, Digital Campus, ο Καθηγητής Άγγελος Μαρκόπουλος, μέλος του WP4, Research, η Καθηγήτρια Μαρία Μενεγάκη, μέλος του WP3, Teaching and Learning, η Καθηγήτρια Άννα Ζερβάκη.

Η απογευματινή συνεδρία περιελάμβανε διμερείς συναντήσεις και ξεναγήσεις σε εργαστήρια του ΕΜΠ. Με βάση τα ερευνητικά τους ενδιαφέροντα η αντιπροσωπεία του URJC χωρίστηκε σε δύο ομάδες:

Η ομάδα 1 επισκέφθηκε τις Σχολές Μεταλλειολόγων Μεταλλουργών Μηχανικών (ΣMMM) και Χημικών Μηχανικών (ΣΧΜ), με επικεφαλής τον Ομοτ. Καθηγήτρια Κατερίνα Αδάμ, τον Καθηγητή Ανδρέα Μπουντούβη και την , EULiST NTUA Local Coordinator, Αντωνία Λαμπροπούλου, Προϊσταμένη του Τμήματος Διεθνών Σχέσεων ΕΜΠ. Η επίσκεψη στη ΣΜΜΜ συμπεριλαμβανομένου του Ορυκτολογικού Μουσείου Georama και του ΤΕΜ έγινε υπό την καθοδήγηση του Καθηγητή Σταύρου Τριανταφυλλίδη, και του Καθηγητή Αντώνη Πέππα ενώ στη Σχολή Χημικών Μηχανικών οι επισκέψεις στα Εργαστήρια και στις εγκαταστάσεις της Πιλοτικής Μονάδας έγιναν υπό την καθοδήγηση των Καθηγητών Ευαγγελία Παυλάτου, Κώστα Χαριτίδη, Μάγδας Κροκίδα, και Γεράσιμου Λυμπεράτου.
Η ομάδα 2 επισκέφθηκε τη Σχολή Ηλεκτρολόγων Μηχανικών και Μηχανικών Υπολογιστών (ΣΗΜΜΥ) υπό το συντονισμό της Καθηγήτριας Ιωάννας Ρουσσάκη, όπου έγιναν συζητήσεις για τους τομείς ερευνητικής εστίασης της Σχολής αλλά και για ερευνητικά θέματα από τη Σχολή Μηχανολόγων Μηχανικών (ΣMΜ), υπό το συντονισμό του Καθηγητή Κωνσταντίνου Κηρυττόπουλου. Μέλη ΔΕΠ της ΣΗΜΜΥ που συμμετείχαν στις συζητήσεις αυτές ήταν οι καθηγητές Ευάγγελος Χριστοφόρου, Παύλος Σωτηριάδης, Νικόλαος Μήτρου και Σίμος Παπαβασιλείου. Η ΣΜΜ εκπροσωπήθηκε επίσης από τους καθηγητές Βασίλη Ριζιώτη και Αθανάσιο Ρεντιζέλα.

Η επίσκεψη ολοκληρώθηκε με κοινή συνεδρίαση, κατά την οποία συνοψίστηκαν οι δυνατότητες μελλοντικής συνεργασίας στους τομείς της έρευνας, της εκπαίδευσης και της καινοτομίας, με επίκεντρο πεδία αμοιβαίου ενδιαφέροντος και την κοινή δέσμευση για την προώθηση της βιωσιμότητας, της πράσινης και ψηφιακής μετάβασης – στρατηγικών στόχων του EULiST.

Within the framework of the European University Alliance EULiST “European Universities Linking Society and Technology”, the University of L’Aquila (UnivAQ), in cooperation with the EULiST partners Institut Mines-Télécom (IMT), Leibniz University Hannover (LUH), National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and other non-EULiST universities, is organizing an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) focused on developing transversal and critical digital skills in the era of generative technologies for inclusion, upskilling and reskilling.

Μπορούν η καριέρα και η μητρότητα να συνυπάρξουν; Πώς είναι να μεγαλώνεις παιδιά και στόχους μαζί;

Η MiMEC, φοιτητική ομάδα που δραστηριοποιείται στο ΕΜΠ με σκοπό την ενδυνάμωση φοιτητών και νέων αποφοίτων μέσα από δράσεις επαγγελματικής και προσωπικής εξέλιξης, εγκαινιάζει τη νέα της σειρά δράσεων με τίτλο “MiMEC Talks”, ξεκινώντας με μια εκδήλωση αφιερωμένη στη Γιορτή της Μητέρας.

Σε μια ανοιχτή συζήτηση, γυναίκες που ισορροπούν καθημερινά ανάμεσα στον επαγγελματικό τους ρόλο και τον ρόλο της μητέρας, θα μοιραστούν προσωπικές ιστορίες, σκέψεις και εμπειρίες.

Info Event on international studies and exchange opportunities at HKUST – Thursday 15 May 2025

Την Πέμπτη 15 Μαΐου 2025 θα επισκεφθεί το ΕΜΠ μεγάλη αντιπροσωπεία του Πανεπιστημίου Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) και θα πραγματοποιηθεί ενημερωτική εκδήλωση που απευθύνεται στους φοιτητές του ΕΜΠ.

Το Πανεπιστήμιο HKUST είναι ένα διακεκριμένο πανεπιστήμιο σύμφωνα με τις διεθνείς κατατάξεις (#1 in Hong Kong, #12 στην Κίνα, #47 παγκοσμίως), και ένα από τα κορυφαία νέα πανεπιστήμια στον κόσμο, έχοντας τις ρίζες του στο επίκεντρο της παγκόσμιας τεχνολογικής ανάπτυξης (Hong Kong), αλλά και στέρεη διασύνδεση και υψηλό αντίκτυπο στην ηπειρωτική χώρα, ενώ έχει υπογράψει πρόσφατα στρατηγική συμφωνία συνεργασίας με το ΕΜΠ.

Στην εκδήλωση θα παρουσιαστούν ευκαιρίες κινητικότητας και μεταπτυχιακών και διδακτορικών σπουδών τόσο στο HKUST, όσο και στο International Campus του HKUST(Guangzhou), που προσφέρονται στους κόμβους τεχνολογίας του, όπως το Function Hub (Προηγμένα Υλικά, Περιβάλλον, Μικροηλεκτρονική Τεχνολογία), το Information Hub (Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη, Επιστήμη Δεδομένων) και το Society Hub (Κλιματική Αλλαγή, Καινοτομία και Επιχειρηματικότητα). Ακολούθως θα υπάρχει δυνατότητα να συζητήσουν οι ενδιαφερόμενοι φοιτητές με τα μέλη της αντιπροσωπείας.

Η εκδήλωση θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Πέμπτη 15 Μαΐου 2025 από τις 12:00 έως τις 14:00 στην Αίθουσα Εκδηλώσεων του κτηρίου Διοίκησης στην Πολυτεχνειούπολη Ζωγράφου.

Chemecon NTUA Event: ChemExpo 2025 – Catalyzing Digital Evolution

Η φετινή μεγάλη δράση του @Chemecon έρχεται να φωτίσει τον ψηφιακό μετασχηματισμό στη Χημική Μηχανική, αναδεικνύοντας τις τεχνολογικές εξελίξεις που διαμορφώνουν το μέλλον του κλάδου.
